Day T minus 2 Trailing Back

This is a test. I will be once again blogging each day of the trek where we trail back to Tala.

You should receive the first legitimate post sometime on Tuesday December 1 soon after Nessie leaves the driveway of what we unfondly call our "Covid house" in Santa Clara. (Ah how we longed to shelter-in-place in our beautiful Palo Alto house these past ten months.)

We will be on the road for fifteen days arriving in Alexandria on December 15 to a real bed and a home cooked meal by our fabulous cook of a daughter. Here's a preview of the Americana you will experience at our sides:

Day 1: Santa Clara to Paso Robles

Days 2 & 3: Death Valley, CA

Days 4 & 5: Grand Canyon, AZ

Day 6: Grants, NM

Day 7: Palo Duro Canyon State Park, TX (near Amarillo)

Day 8: Oklahoma City, OK

Days 9 & 10: Hot Springs National Park, AR

Day 11: Nashville, TN

Days 12 & 13: Great Smoky Mountains National Park, TN

Day 14: Lynchburg, VA

Day 15: Arrive in Alexandria, VA

So here we go trailing back to Tala...
